The people in control -- and I don't mean the politicians and bureaucrats, I mean the people who really control our lives -- don't like us being able to express our opinions at all. They've managed to stamp out 95% of free expression on the Internet, mainly by relying on self-censorship, which is driven by greed and fear. The truth is deadly to them. Plenty of countries ban America websites. Russia banned twitter, facebook, Instagram and 138k other websites in the last year. Their country, their rules.
