Growing up, we werent allowed to stay in the house during the day. We were made to go out and get fresh air and sunshine. There werent eyeballs on us unless it was time to eat, the street lights came on, or we got hurt. And then one day, walking home from school sick, I was kidnapped. I was the lucky one that got away. Another girl from school, my brothers class, was taken and they found her body in a pine grove down the road. The guy lived on our road. When the police arrived my dad had the guy on the ground with a gun in his face.

IDK..I assume the arrested him. I was only eight and then no one talked about it after that. I don't remember much, just him telling me my mom said to watch for me and for me to stay at his house til she picked me up, then going through a blue front door...then running home screaming. Thats all...everything else a blank pretty much.
