pretty safe to assume they are trolling, but I am more interested in why they would, what do you think? There is a slight parallel between what you're saying about the frustration of being unable to discern actuality/authenticity from images like this one, and people who look like one thing but then say they are something else. Which is ironic because by trolling they perform what's at the core of what repulses them.
