Men still categorize women as 50/50, so we know it's not just Westerners turning into fat basement dwellers. Western female partner preferences have simply so diverged from reality that there's a widespread insistence that dateable men make six figs, and have a six pack, and be over six feet.
This bifurcated market is exacerbated by the collapse of monogamy as a social and moral value in the West. It has led to a situation where a minority of Chads have a de facto harem and 85-90% of men are settling for scraps or nothing. This is particularly problematic for short men because you can make more money, or work out more, but you cant readily grow taller. It does not. I have multiple single male friends who're making six figs, sense of humor, strong morals, reliable, etc...but they're short. It's like they're wearing girl repellant because they're not tall. I grasp female preferences and all, but this is like a guy turning down an otherwise great gal because she doesn't have DD's.
