Good point. Maybe women are truely evolved primarily for dealing with the *in-group* (safety). Women are usually *not* good at dealing with the *out-group* (danger). Women value friendliness and compassion, too much so when it comes to the out-group. It's like men have a whole section of the brain dedicated to identifying enemies and figuring out how to deal with them. Men have had responsibility for hunting and dealing with enemies (danger) for 10s of thousands of years, and have had the responsibility to keep their women safe. Men will interfer if someone bothers their women. Since that prolly went on for a very very long time, women might actually be evolved in a greater extent for safety/private sphere.
