I could explain what I believe I remember (that's an odd way to describe a memory) and it's nothing like what you describe. There's no physicality to the experienced pain and there's nothing more than just "being" and it is relatively quite normal in that sense. But it's far from normal in the emotional, psychological spiritual sense.
