I have analogue meters and am constantly bombarded by my supplier to have smart meters(I don't even respond anymore) I will not ever do something as stupid as signing up to a service that has the possibility to control what power I use. They physically have to remove me from the grid or cut me off(which they can only do under very specific criteria). Fuck these people, but dayum we do keep shooting ourselves in the foot.
