How many tomboys did you know when you were a kid who grew up into beautiful feminine women? They may retain some of their "masculine" interests, like following sports, but they probably aren't into rolling around in the dirt as much anymore. They were like the "ugly ducklings" that turned into beautiful swans. And they're often athletic, so they have nice bodies to grow into. Tomboys were a lot of fun to have in a friend group. I had some female cousins who were tomboyish, would wrestle and play baseball with us boys. Sometimes we'd make a game out of "boys vs. girls" and things could get competitive. None of them are dykes, they're all married and have children now.
