Jews were the first to codify feminists ideals into their Talmudic writings. The first to have abortion provisions/allowances.

I'm not saying that a woman should be the property of a man. And I am also not saying we should disallow women from divorcing men.

Just pointing out that you're right and Judaism has a very long history of being progressive.
