Just wait until counties and states start enacting locality taxes on residents who purchase guns within the county and state.

The worst part is that when the IRS gets involved they tack on fees to the point where their claim is always a bit over $50,000 so that... they can confiscate your passport and you can't run away.
You aren't wrong at all, this shit will run through the courts for many years and until a Constitutional ruling is put forward they will take every gun that they can.
