A ban on gasoline driven cars is retarded. You cannot legislate the transition from gasoline to electric cars. It can't be forced. It is dictated by real-world conditions. When these conditions change, and when they demand electric cars, then we will move to electric cars, gradually and smoothly, without traumatic upset to the general economy. But we can't be forced onto electric cars when we don't have sufficient electrical generating capacity, we don't have enough charging stations, enough raw materials for car batteries, and most important of all, when electric cars DON'T WORK under winter conditions in colder regions. Yes, you heard me -- they don't fucking work when it gets really cold for months on end. If they can be made to move at all, their range drops to almost nothing.
