My guess, the dean or directors of the college said something to piss off wealthy doners, and they stopped sending the college money.

A mostly black law school? Are they going there to become mastermind criminals for free with affirmative action benefits? I saw only 2000 students are there but over 58 crimes by students each year on average. That's pretty bad considering it's a law school.

Sounds like decades of mismanagement shut down the school and this was the perfect excuse to blame something else.

There is literally nothing on those computers they can't do without. Whatever grades were lost can be either recovered from physical copies or determined by a test. And "closing down" has nothing to do with how this semester ends. It simply means they won't be open for the next semester. So literally nothing on those computers matters for that.
