I know a Polish girl and she said before the 'war' even started that Ukrainians love to move to Poland because they see it as their version of america. They get more pay and more opportunities.

Ukrainians are Europe's version of Mexicans, the country is dirt poor (which a lot of people don't realize) and they cross the border in droves. They work cheap but even then they are doing way better for themselves than if they had stayed at home.

Polish girl wasn't wrong.
