I play steel tip, but I actually did learn something cool about the soft tips. I was talking to a guy the other day. He says with the soft tip, the machines are now linked, so you can play friends or randoms from other bars. I thought that was kind of neat, but I'll stick to my steel tips. You don't have to put quarters in a cork board either!

That is pretty cool. But I still prefer playing with steel tips and I bet it would be fairly easy to cheat if you are playing against random people online.

The boards have cameras so you can see the other person shoot, but I'm sure there are still ways to do it.
