Lol. I think traditionalism is great and important and everything, but I think traditionalists get too reactionary and instead default to something like regression-ism. Something like the 1950s with a Jetson’s futuristic edge would be more ideal. I don’t think anybody actually wants to give up modern conveniences, they’re what potentially frees up humanity’s time so as to be able to pursue things that are truly beautiful and worthwhile in life. One of our big problems is that technology is being used to suppress humanity instead of truly liberating them. The proper use of technology for our benefit and prosperity is a birth right, and the improper use of it for the purpose of bringing about our demise is unforgivable. Also, merely existing to survive and procreate eventually becomes tiring and meaningless. I’d rather live in a free and advanced society that allows us to explore art and spirituality, as well as provides opportunities for meaningful employment if one desires.
