Conclusion : Steam powered trains drastically reduced the need of labour to move goods from location A to location B. This lead to slaves being displaced from their traditional work. This reduced the demand for slaves. This ultimately resulted in potential slaves being left in their homelands. In their homelands they have greatly suffered compared to the freed slaves in other countries.
