Zivot je pes
After leaving the States and moving to a former Soviet block country I ran across this little nugget which translates as "Life Is Dog".
You have yet to become as jaded as these ex-communist people over here that I have grown to respect. Hard times breed strong Men and these Men have lived in times so bad that it's a dogs life is par for the course for them.

I hate to tell you this but that has always been an essential part of the Russian culture. Life has always been a dog there, even long before the jews killed the Tsar and took over....
