You have no idea how much cash hot rod/antique car swap meets pass around. Even 20 years ago a trashed out 32 Ford 3 window coupe body would sell for $25,000 FAST. There's a large cash economy the gov't knows exists but can't control and they hate it. All these seizure laws were put into place under the guise of stopping drugs and gang activity but is commonly used against regular people. There are many cases where people were murdered by the police in order to take their property.

When the system is corrupt from the top to the bottom it leaves a moral man in a hard place.

The US federal government imposed the first personal income tax on August 5, 1861, to help pay for its war effort in the American Civil War (3% of all incomes over US$800) (equivalent to $18,300 in 2019).[12][13][14] This tax was repealed and replaced by another income tax in 1862.[15][16] It was only in 1894 that the first peacetime income tax was passed through the Wilson-Gorman tariff. The rate was 2% on income over $4000 (equivalent to $109,000 in 2019), which meant fewer than 10% of households would pay any. The purpose of the income tax was to make up for revenue that would be lost by tariff reductions.[17] The US Supreme Court ruled the income tax unconstitutional, the 10th amendment forbidding any powers not expressed in the US Constitution, and there being no power to impose any other than a direct tax by apportionment. In 1913, the Sixteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution made the income tax a permanent fixture in the U.S. tax system. In fiscal year 1918, annual internal revenue collections for the first time passed the billion-dollar mark, rising to $5.4 billion by 1920.[18] The amount of income collected via income tax has varied dramatically, from 1% in the early days of US income tax to taxation rates of over 90% during WW2.

It always starts with something that most people will never worry about.

It's dead simple to come up with an excuse to justify doing wrong that appeals to the emotions of people. Most people go through life doing the most immoral shit all the time by using this technique. As a nation the USA has lost it moral mooring and is afloat in a sea of shit yet the immoral have never more loudly screamed against people claiming a higher moral ground!

honk honk!

After leaving the States and moving to a former Soviet block country I ran across this little nugget which translates as "Life Is Dog".

You have yet to become as jaded as these ex-communist people over here that I have grown to respect. Hard times breed strong Men and these Men have lived in times so bad that it's a dogs life is par for the course for them.

ChinaFlu has been a huge assault on cash moneys. So many places are starting to refuse it on the grounds of chinaflu hygiene bullshit.

Very important that everyone make a point of carrying and using cash whenever and wherever possible.
