Ah, thanks, I've seen the phrase "the gospel according to Saint Paul", but maybe that was by non Catholics?
Paul seemed to be some kind of proto-Catholic, so I just assumed he'd be the go-to saint for them?
Paul was more or less contemporary with the Gospel era, so it's not incorrect to include his writings with them. It's just clunky terminology that somebody associated with the church probably wouldn't use. The Epistles provide really valuable insight into the Gospels and especially how early Christian communities tried to live them out.
