There's no audio of the abridged version (meant for Western audiences).
So?
800 pages vs 3,000 is not realistic to many folk. Full version is a TOME with information most of wouldn't understand because of a lack of Russian knowledge.
I downloaded and listened to the complete, un-abridged audio version of the Gulag Archipelico. I highly recommend others do the same.
I know nothing of the books history or writer(s) or legitimacy. Nor do i know if 800 pages would have held my attention in print form. But, i did listen to the entire audio presentation.
