Eh. It's a fucking rat dude. Their cause is now greater than themselves. I'd gangstop 5000 rats/chickens/monkeys to death if it means saving a white child's life at the end of it, or gleans information that can be weaponized to save western civilization.

For your sake, don't read up on The Mouse Utopia Experiment if your delicate demeanor can't handle a rat drowning.

Now do all of medicine. How else do you think they test for toxicity? They determine it based on the amount of a substance needed to kill 50 of 100 lab rats.

You're changing the goalposts. The discussion is about putting rats in glass vials to watch them drown for an experiment that doesn't require watching them drown.
