Yeah, I wish they would edit them down I suppose, but the long the cop stays patient with them the more you have to give the cops credit, they are just people doing a job most of the time one that doesn't even pay very well and yet here they are going above and beyond putting up with these idiots crap, trying for a peaceful resolution. If you cut all that out completely it could reflect worse on the officer's involved.
There's truth to that. They generally do show cops as just regular folks out there trying to do their job.
I think thats the best way to show them, people seem to see them like they are another species or something. I always thought these are just people trying to do their jobs, they don't want to deal with a pain in the ass anymore than anyone else does.
Yup. There are some a$$holes, of course, there are everywhere ... but in general, decent guys just doing a job like everyone else. And generally, at least from my experience, if you treat them with respect, cops go outta their way to take it easier on you when you mess up.
