The stupidity of Cal. is amazing. The spend billions on a train to no where, when they have an ocean of Water if they spent money on research to desalinate it.

The problem is the enormous power needed for massive amounts of water used, and where to put the brine. I suppose they could use death valley for the brine. Maybe use that renewable energy to fuel the process? Sounds expensive as hell, but at least Nestle will still get to sell the free stuff out of the ground.
They should be using nuclear energy, but they're leftists that love to regulate the fuck out of everything.

Put the brine back in the ocean where is comes from. I was actually talking about 'new' ways to make the ocean potable by new research which it seems now is a better place for money.
That would end up killing all life in the area. And then some. That shit is ultra-poison.
