Sea level has been rising slowly and steadily since the current interglacial period began. It is not new, and it has not shown any dramatic increase. Nobody is denying that climate changes, so that is a straw-man.

There is no evidence of any trend of extreme weather events, and the climate system is far from being understood, let alone in terms of basic physics.
the earth is effectively an enclosed system(although a leaky one il admit), if you increase the energy in an enclosed system it increases the volatility of said system, that is quite literally basic physics, entropy is increased along with energy in the system
