Global warming was one of the first dissident things I discovered. It's pushed in schools, universities, media, etc. yet it bases itself on pseudoscience. You have to believe a chain of nearly a dozen things to go along with it, any one if which would break their intended conclusion. Observe:

  1. Universities, governments, NGOs and political lobbies are unbiased in their presentation of the science. Industries like oil companies, nuclear advocacy groups, loggers, or farmers are completely untrustworthy.
  2. The greenhouse effect is the primary driver of global temperature.
  3. Industrialization is the primary factor in increased CO2.
  4. Increased CO2 will inevitably lead to a positive feedback loop (there are no significant negative feedback loops).
  5. Increased temperatures will be catastrophic, rather than beneficial.
  6. The only way to avoid this catastrophe is to deindustrialize.
  7. Deindustrialization will not be more catastrophic than increased temperatures.
  8. The government, NGOs, and large corporations are the only ones that can be trusted with the power over industry to manage this crisis.

This is why that official in Massachusetts wanted to "break our will". That's the whole point of this narrative, which is exactly like many of their other narratives. They want us to be their slaves.

This may or may not be true but since there is absolutely no way to scientifically create a test to reproduce in a lab this exact effect it can never be stated as fact. Ever. By any scientist. In fact if you look at the ice core data going back millions of years spikes of CO2 in the atmosphere were preceded by higher temperatures. But you already knew that.

really though, how is the simple idea that the climate changes so hard to understand for some people, even with out people that is true and the climate changes simply due to is distance from the sun, people have been releasing tons of stored energy and that causes a more volatile system, its basic physics

Sea level has been rising slowly and steadily since the current interglacial period began. It is not new, and it has not shown any dramatic increase. Nobody is denying that climate changes, so that is a straw-man.
