That's honestly the saddest thing I've seen all day. Those hand knitted clothes were that woman's hopes and dreams for her grandchildren, she probably put so much love into them. Now her daughter is mocking those dreams and that love by putting them on "furbabies" instead.

your assuming the sex of the post, it could be a male that posted that. there is no context.

I don't know which is worse.

Damn, that went dark quicker than I thought it could.

If her mother knew she was going to raise a genetic dead end, do you think she would have wasted all that time on her, or give her up for adoption and try again with another pregnancy?

Her mother is a big part of why she turned out how she did.

I blame the parents most of the time

The sad part is, Boomer mom will never understand the role she played here, which is why the cycle keeps repeating.

If asked what happened, mom would say something like, "I always raised little Susie to be independent/strong/fierce and make sure to take care of herself as priority. I told her to make sure she got an education, a great career, and to find a man who supported her dreams and goals. I never expected she would throw all that away for a dog!"

Well, mom, the issue is you told her to focus on a bunch of things that make men happy instead of the things that make women happy, such as raising kids and keeping the house. So when she found herself aged 30 burnt out from work with 50 cocks under her belt, she had no choice but to turn to a dog to cope with the crushing depression from her new reality. Good job, mom.

Basically every single 30 something white woman with a fur baby situation going on fits this same pattern. Look at mom.

She would probably go back to have another kid if she didn't already. That's one reason why having a big family is important. Every child you have increases odds of grandkids, raising them right helps too of course. I hope all my kids give me grandkids but idk if it's realistic to expect that. At least one will I'm sure, probably 2, and I wouldn't go back in time to adopt out the ones who don't. I'll teach them the importance of having a family but that's their decision. Maybe one will want kids but not be able to have them for whatever reason. That being said if I knew they all wouldn't have kids I probably wouldn't have bothered having any either. Adoption is wrong though, basically legal human trafficking so that's off the table in any scenario. Anyway, I hope the lady who posted this has siblings so her poor mom didn't waste her time.

It's so creepy when people refer to pets as their children. Animals can be great friends but they're not a substitute for kids. Not to mention they have their own parents, who they were taken away from in order to be pets.

What's insane is how much will be spent on the dog's health.

hope the dog bites her for humiliating him
