Racism probably starts even earlier. It's a natural phenomenon.

If children are born with it, then it needs to be made into a protected class and promoted and protected just like the LGBTQ alphabet community gets protection - let's all celebrate with parades and get Hollywood representation for the community called W(hite)

I think a lot of the actions attributed to racism in kids are actually the result of adult behavior around kids. Every black teacher I knew in elementary school was considered "mean" by most of the students. Only a few White ones were. If you look at how black and White moms treat their kids in a public setting, there are pretty stark differences. Kids obviously would notice the differences as well.

Once kids get a little older, obviously they start interaction with other kids which further highlights the racial differences. Those differences are only exacerbated by how their parents interacted with them.

I get that most people, including kids, have a preference for their own kind. However, young kids are generally friendly to anyone who is friendly to them. This is yet another example of people being judged by the content of the character which is not allowed in clown world.

I think we disagree that racism is learned. I believe it's innate in human nature. Being friendly with all races is distinct from racial preference.

We all prefer our own race. We can accept other races and be friendly toward other races. As you pointed out, different races exhibit different behaviors and we respond accordingly. I grew up where blacks were tolerated but were treated differently. I only realized later in life they behaved like they did because of their lack of abstract thinking. Noone explained this to me, i had to discover this on my own.

Realizing that not all blacks behave badly and then being able to judge individuals rather than whole races is yet another skill.
