This is true. I can't believe parents allow this to continue. There has to be a point where everyone realizes that the cost doesn't justify it. Plus, in real life, other than serious professions like doctors or engineers, etc, a degree brings almost nothing to the table.

I remember having teachers back in middle school that were too lazy to grade, so it just turned into "Hand your assignment in x direction, and grade each other's". Surprisingly, everyone got perfect scores every time in those classes.

That's why I put this in , this one disregard for the accepted norms of the education and business world throws the whole system on it's head and will lead to a trickle down cascading failure. This is suicide and suicide is, by definition, insane.

In the non-government IT field "Education" is the absolute last thing on a resume. Like three lines about the location and name of the school and your degree(s) and/or minor.

That's it. No GPA, no honors, nothing. They only care you got a degree from somewhere, nothing more.
