Deutsche is what the language is called by the people who actually speak it. Germanic languages in general aren’t gendered languages afaik (English being a Germanic language). They are objecting to the translation of a word from one non-gendered tongue to another non-gendered tongue containing a syllable that they erroneously believe refers to a gender. I think it’s fair to say these people are morons.

German is a gendered language in that it uses gendered nouns (der, die, das). Germanic languages are actually mostly gendered (Dutch, Swedish, Danish, etc.) - English is the exception, but Old English was gendered - it was just lost along the way.

'Deutsch', without the 'e' at the end.

Die Deutsche Sprache.

Yes, the language is called DEUTSCH, not 'Deutsche'.

Ich spreche Deutsch.

Die Deutsch e Sprache ist wunderbar.

These are the same idiots who think "history" is a gendered word, too.

That is just absolutely ridiculous. Obviously they feel no real power in their own lives to have to be a social "warrior" to this extreme.

"But it has 'MAN' in it. It is out duty to stop them! REEEEEEEEEEE."

German is an English word and it shouldn't be used. Instead we need to respect the native language.

The people of Deutschland speak Deutschlandic.
