“(30) The term ‘military-style weapon’ means—

“(A) any of the firearms, or copies or duplicates of the firearms in any caliber, known as—

“(i) Norinco, Mitchell, and Poly Technologies Avtomat Kalashnikovs (all models);

“(ii) Action Arms Israeli Military Industries UZI and Galil;

“(iii) Beretta Ar70 (SC–70);

“(iv) Colt AR–15;

“(v) Fabrique National FN/FAL, FN/LAR, and FNC;

“(vi) SWD M–10, M–11, M–11/9, and M–12;

“(vii) Steyr AUG;

“(viii) INTRATEC TEC–9, TEC–DC9 and TEC–22; and

“(ix) revolving cylinder shotguns, such as (or similar to) the Street Sweeper and Striker 12;

And that's just the beginning of the list.

You should actually read through this Bill, it is quite nasty. The "license" fee is $800 for any of the guns on the "military-style weapons" list (per gun), the restrictions against getting a license are multiple (including drinking beer I shit you not) and require that you take an 8 hour long gun safety course that has been approved by the Attorney General. God only knows how much something like that would cost and the Bill as written doesn't really state that you need to only take the course once or once for every $800 fucking license.

It does state, on the other hand, that you do have to retake the course when you renew your license every 5 fucking years. Honk honk.
