By "vetting" the military before the assassination they are setting a precedent that "vetting" our soldiers is acceptable. After the assassination they will purge the military of anybody to the right of Mao.
It's what the commies did in Czechoslovakia when they took over (was talking to my mechanic about it today).
I hope the military moves first.
Reminds me how in Belgium people made a humongous deal of how the govt was insolvent for 2 years (this was a while ago). Somehow though this SAME insolvent govt was able to increase taxes, fine people, and have full authority over its subjects. It was really a fight of which commie faction would win out, the dutch part or the walloonian one.
