Ultimately you might want to look for protein source supply outside of commercial supply chains

Because "what if"

I' starting to not be sure that 3 months will cut it, I'm starting to ponder a worse case scenario

Of course we're not there yet, that's a given, and chances are... Hm. "chances are". We don't know, that's for sure. There's the virus, there's the mostly foreseeable economic and financial ripple effect... And then, you have the unknown, the unforeseen worsening, in a too weak to handle it environment

Your fears are not unwarranted but at this point in time we can only do what we can do. If it gets much worse than my projections then we will cross that bridge. Besides, if it gets that bad there will be a lot of dead neighbors and I know how to pick locks for additional supplies

>As we highlighted earlier, an economic analyst who predicted the 2008 financial collapse is concerned that coronavirus could cause another economic collapse and has stockpiled 18 months worth of food.

He isn't wrong but 18 months is way out of our budget. Yours too I would imagine, I hate those Wall Street faggots.

I like the idea of farming rabbits for protein they eat scrap vegetables, are quiet, breed quickly. I've heard its a good way to go.

Chicken ftw

At least you have eggs if you don't feel like killing one

And it feeds on scrap too

My only 2 gripes with chickens is 1 they are loud and 2 I'm not allowed to have roosters where I am legally. So if I want to do it I have to think of something else. My in laws had hens for a while and fresh eggs were pretty cool.
