Maybe your candidates don't have appeal because the democrat platform is insane.
I donno, I actually thought that was a decent piece of writing.
It's the intent that perturbs me though. Is it satire, religious liberalism, or insanity? It hovers along multiple lines remaining noncommittal to any real point. Problems w/o solutions, good candidates that aren't good enough, an imaginary and yet unknown savior contender that strikes the perfect amount of likeability to be more appealing than the existing ones. It paints a picture of herding cats and hoping for a cat jesus to appear and right the path of the herd.
It's such a partisan bit of righting it only offers the reader true blue believers and towing the party line as solutions. Symptom of a broken 2 party system I guess. I just feel it lacks depth. In 2016 if my options were between a democrat like Jim Webb (didn't run but probably should have) and republican like JEB Bush... not even just JEB, I'd have voted Jim Webb over every other conservative candidate... perhaps not Trump though I can't say for certain.
U kno, deep down in ur heart, u only want to vote 4 Rand or Ron Paul.
Ron yes, rand is too much of an idealist and voted to end the border emergency executive order for funding from the president. I understand the libertarian position on this (one I actually empathize with) and the necessity of reigning in the powers of the executive branch. He's all theory and no solutions though. While focusing on one problem he ignores the overreach of the judicial branch and their political activism in recent years. You can't address either problem unless you do so simultaneously. Both those branches have been playing fast and loose for a little too long. Goes back years.
