As someone’s last decision ever though, I’d think they’d prefer to have it completed while they think it’s what they want, rather than even have the time to regret it yet be unable to change it

I… don’t think they’re really the same.
One is “oh shit I probably could’ve turned my life around but I’m already falling,” and the other is a physical change in a person’s brain due to a newly formed hormonal imbalance
