This number drops when using the official number of ovens (46 ovens at Birkenau) and taking into account that ovens couldn't possibly run full time for 2 years of operation. This comes from a total of **2 million** that disappeared. **1 million** were killed by the Soviets. **700,000** died from old age, disease or as a result of bombardments or combat. Assuming that all 300,000 of those Jews were executed by the Germans (which is doubtful), the "final solution" would be unfathomable.
