Let me preface by saying that if you’re going to attack me for asking an honest question, then you’re a big reason why people like me who just want the real truth - whatever it is - get frustrated and just stop looking at some point.

That said, I think it’s fairly obvious (((who))) is behind a lot of terrible things in this country and worldwide. I mean, to realize this only requires a bare minimum amount of research and just paying attention to who controls all of the most evil organizations.

So, things that are happening in real time today are fairly easy to check out since we’re in the Information Age and all.

But, the past is tougher to investigate. As they say “history is written by the winners”.

I was born in the early 80’s, so wasn’t around for WWII or even Vietnam. I was in grade school during desert storm and college during 9/11.

The only access I’ve had to any real war vets from that era was a cousin of one of my grandfathers, who was at Pearl Harbor the day it was bombed by the Japs. He obviously survived and subsequently fought in the pacific theater as a pilot during the war. Real great guy, I always like him a lot and looked forward to visiting him in Florida when I was a kid. He would take us to the naval museum and always had great stories. Hated Obama and was a true patriot till the day he died.

Anyhow, here’s my question.. I have never heard of an American WWII vet who straight out said anything remotely close to “the holocaust didn’t actually happen.”

So this is what I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around..if it didn’t happen, then wouldn’t literal thousands of American troops be coming home after that war and saying so?

And mind you, I’m not even trying to get into the question of whether or not anything the Germans did or didn’t do was morally right or wrong. That’s an entirely different discussion.

I’m simply asking how is it that thousands of troops who were actually there didn’t come home saying that the death camps were a fabrication, if in fact they were?

Or perhaps thousands did come home saying so and I’ve just never met one or even come across one of their descendants? Seems unlikely, but I’m open minded enough to hear any argument.

These people would have certainly told their sons “yeah that was all bullshit”, who would have then told their sons, and so on. But to my knowledge, this hasn’t happened at all.

So, anyone have an answer as to how such a ruse could be pulled off to the degree that so many of our own ancestors apparently were “seeing things that weren’t there?”

Again, I just want the truth, whatever it may be. If someone is going to preach the message that the holocaust was fake, then invariably they would have to answer this question at some point, right? I have to imagine many of you already have an answer to this question, I’m simply asking what that answer is.

So the Russians made it up, I presume is the implication here?

I mean not without help from Americans. Propaganda didn't stop right after the war. In fact, the government pretty much kept on making it. The Holocaust was a nice story to tell to justify what had been done to Germany, and jews were only too happy to tell it. The USSR had paid a far higher price for the war than the US did and was thus that much more in need of propaganda. I mean who was there really to speak against it? US veterans hated Hitler before the Holocaust myth because they were supposed to. Just like they hated the Japanese and later Koreans and Vietnamese. And much later Afghanis and Iraqis. Absent any sympathy for jews, which most Americans did not have, Hitler was portrayed as a dictator-tyrant. Since Americans loved freedom.

As has been pointed out, history is written by the victors. That the Holocaust overshadows all the other atrocities of a World War should tell you who the real victors were.

Another thing to remember is people didn't have as free access to information before the Internet. In fact, during WW2 and immediately thereafter all media was censored by the US government. So not only would you be discredited if you told a different story, but the government might come after you, too. They had a lot to hide; not just the facts around the camps.

That being said, soviets weren't exactly famous for their truthful statements, quite the opposite actually

Well my thinking was that because the Bolshevik/commie leadership was mostly Jews, then…

It's complicated... But yeah the jewish component is a big deal in the overall story

There are different periods when it comes to the soviet union, stalin went after the jews for instance, big time, that's the great purge episode, when he realized they were turning on him/ditching the soviet union to join the "new israel eldorado", the zionist project

But back to the end of WWII, everybody agreed the losers (nazis) had to be nailed for good and forever, so they would never, ever, recover. So they charged the mule, naturally

Yes, just as they hid the Katyn Forest massacre of the Polish officer corps. This was exposed by the Germans, and widely disbelieved internationally.
