According to the World Almanac, there were 9,494,363 Jews in Europe in 1933 and only 120,000 less in 1948. Does this bring the number closer to the original Red Cross assessment of 250,000 victims?

If I remember correctly, the almanac image is a "Jewish" almanac, that is published for Jews by Jews.
