Jefferson, while standing for religious liberty, wasn't fond of them. Possibly Franklin but there's debate on quote authenticity

Yea I was surprised to read that. #1 was either naive or hadn't read enough history it seems. Perhaps he was in on the cut, and the ruse of "religious freedom" was a dogwhistle for jewish sycophantism. Definitely an interesting topic to research
