ikr. they assumed that as a gamedev, i am some kind of magic wizard who can fix every tech problem on an unplanned 5 minutes, despite listing for them 8 other errors that are more complex and more important to my livelihood then talking to them

they asked for a task so (relatively) light i have no choice but to shove it to the back of the line, then acted pissy it wasnt task #1 and that they'd have to be patient

then they say "what, you didnt test it out beforehand?" like, test it out by talking to who exactly? the fucking wall? my fucking cat? them was the only assholes requiring a mic, no one else

Well if you ever need a mic check, mumbles always online and there is usually someone there post 8pm est

it involves applications which require reading the mic from its setting, which logically requires someone to talk to, but they was the only ones on said application wanting to talk, and everyone else was fine with text

to be fair these assholes expected me to move to one of the US states using the money and time from my own pocket, so their expectation of what a person can give is all kinds of out of wack

Well I for sure don't expect any of that, that all sounds very expensive. I was just saying if you ever wanted a mic check or too talk poal has a mumble server we chat on from time to time.

It just makes them look ignorant as fuck. Mic issues can get quite complicated and rarely pertains to gamers (few record commentary and/or stream). Without knowing if you use condenser or dynamic, I can't make any suggestions.
