This is a very interesting poem as far as northern mythology is concerned. Maybe a favorite of mine. It's a fantastic depiction of both Thor and Odin (shitlord supreme), but also a lot about the old norse worldview in general.
It's funny to watch Crawford's discomfort with some of the harsher language in the exchange. I take issue with Crawford's translation of the term "sissy" -- you pretty much know Thor and Odin are calling each other faggot -- but otherwise his poetic edda translation is very worth checking out.
