Cant say anything specific about the "K" model, but ran a G36 for a while on the road. was a pretty good gun for the intended use. Glad I only ever needed to shoot it once. Worked for me in that situation, was great on all of its range time for practice with it. I cant say I ever even had a misfeed. It did seem to get more carbon buildup on parts than my other rifle choices at the time. My experience may not be that of others. I have only about 1k rounds through one.
He says the K is a short stroke gas piston (looks to be the standard G36) and only a 12.5" barrel... different than the standard G36 I ran (sights / handle + short barrel vs rail w/ iron sights and acog, sling, and long barrel)
2004 vs 2022... makes me feel sorta old looking at basically the exact same gun.
