It's a really simple issue, when you think about it. Should people have the right to defend themselves from violent criminals? If you say "yes," then ask yourself how a grandmother with a walker can defend herself from two black thugs who are about to rape her? If you are honest, you will say, "She must use a gun." There is no other way for a weak, elderly woman to physically defend herself from much stronger criminal attackers. Take away the grandmother's gun, and you take away her ability to defend herself, and therefore deprive her of her right to self-defense.
The math doesn't work. Even if "defensive gun use" had quadrupled, if each and every incident were a lawful use of lethal force, meaning that, it was in response to lethal force, or the threat of lethal force, then each and every "defensive gun use" would have been in response to a violent crime. They would be at worst, 1 for 1.
You don't get to count only the incidents of "defensive gun use" and throwing out the violent crimes that caused them in the first place. If "defensive gun use" has quadrupled, it's because violent crime has quadrupled, and the "defensive gun use" has risen to keep pace.

Anyone who has a reasonable understanding of fighting or mma knows that something like a 50lbs difference is basically insurmountable if the heavier guy has just a little bit of fighting experience. No amount of training will allow the lighter guy to prevail. My wife weighs 100lbs. The majority of guys in the US are probably double her weight. There is nothing other than a gun that will equalize those odds.
It's also worth pointing out that most defensive use of a gun don't get reported. The McCloskey's showed us with happens to law abiding gun owners when they defend themselves even if no one gets hurt. May anyone who attempts to take our right to carry get raped by 1000 std infested donkeys.
Not gonna work the new narrative is that you should just let the blacks rape grandma, they probably had a rough upbringing and if they go to jail it could ruin their lives and you don't want to be (((rAcIsT))) do you??? But otherwise yes I agree and it's that obvious
