Ahhh, misunderstood. I lived in CA for some time and they had a ten day waiting period ... talk about sucks. Ya buy something and then 10 days seems to be a hundred, if ya get my drift.

There are background checks for licensed dealers but they generally access the database or whatever pretty quick. No checks for private sales. I just spoke stupidly, any reasonable person would think that's what I meant.
