I used to live near Austin, and a couple years ago when the started allowing open carry IF you had a CHL I used to see a few people open carry on a daily basis. Last year I moved to a small, rural town in East TX and have not seen anyone open carry around here. I'm fairly observant, and usually would spot quite a few conceal carry when they printed. But I haven't spotted any around here. Just kind of surprised after all the bruh ha ha about TX becoming the wild west again and having shoot outs on a daily basis from the anti-gunners.

Have noticed nothing, to me it was about having to pay for a constitutional right.

Same. Whenever I got in an argument with an anti-gunner I would always ask them if they went thru a background check, and took a test, and paid for a license for their 1st amendment to give their opinion.
