Not really, but if you're a member of a gun or competitive shooting club, this might be an excellent bit of motivation to start an ammo cooperative purchase. Members put in for the amount of ammo they want, the club makes the order after everyone pays, and you simply pick up your order there. Third parties won't notice the increase in ammo purchase by the club and you all can discretely stay stocked.
However, artificially raising the cost of ammunition like this will only make reloading more cost effective for the DIY'er, so you'll likely see more people collecting their spent casings at the range. Even going so far as to ask you more often if you don't mind them collecting yours.
