There are a great option when it comes in a paddle but this holster isn't the one i would chose for one reason. It lacks active retention and is a passive (friction) retention only holster. Pros and Cons: * No training required to operate holster * Lacks active (mechanical) retention and therefore easier to fall out of a weapon. * Out of box potential for a faster draw time (no training to operate) --------------- That said i've used this style as well and it holds the weapons decently with passive retention alone. I've tightening them up and shook them upside (over a couch) and the gun can fall out. Not going into too much detail i've been upside down on a line and the gun held in fine with passive alone but i was nervous about losing it the entire time. Ever since i've gone with an active and passive system. Hence ALS/SLS and a few other options out there.
