.410 slug aint no joke, It's a hole puncher.

.410 #7 birdshot will have difficulty making it through 2 layers of dywall (1 wall) to inflict tremedous damage on a friendly occupent of another room, but as a clear shot within 20 feet it can be leathal to an intruder. lol different tools for different jobs. A .410 slug is amazing. The purpose of birdshot is that you're not firing something into the air that will return to earth and kill a person. Thus why it's for birds w/ their fragile hollow bird bones...

I have a spanish double barrel double folding .410. I keep a slug in the left and #7 in the right barrel. It's a beautiful weapon, it folds at the breach, and at the barrel to stock attachment, folded it is about 18 or 20" long. I can grasp the stock and pop it completely closed.
