The problem with ammo is just getting a large handful often costs as much as a gun in itself. small ammo like air rifles and 22lr is fine. But to buy factory 308 for example is still about $1 a round. Even if I reload, I'm really saving myself only 30-10% depending on what kind of rounds I am making. The cheapest being plain 150gr solid shots. (excluding cast)

Surplus bulk. Austrian 7.62x51 (Hirtenberger) is fantastic.

Surplus ammo is not something that is common here. At all. In fact, now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever seen it.

But its ok. Reloading is good. Plenty of people do it, I do it. and its still an option in a shtf situation. otherwise its 22lr defence wall for us.

That's gay af. Must be the import laws. It's common in Canada.
