Wow, never heard of a state banning revolvers. What did they get them for?
I got a LCR in .327 which was super hard to find. Not the x model, either. I absolutely love it.
I think it was the double action, but the beginning of this year saw California undo a lot of gun restrictions because of a 2A ruling. I can finally pull some stuff out of the safe, this year.
Kamala Harris made it a misdemeanor to steal guns the same week I had a pistol stolen from my bedroom by a stalker. The gun stores, at the time, were taking guns off the shelf because they weren't allowed to sell them even though the guns were technically legal to own. Some kind of restriction against the stores, as opposed to the end users. I had bought it, but didn't pick it up for a while. When they handed it over, they were puzzled as to how it got through the system.
Edit: Here we go...

Got a Ruger LCR .357 as a Christmas present. Purchased in full by my girlfriend at a local, well know retailer. I go in on 12-26 and do the transfer so the paperwork and invoice is under my name. I pay the DOJ fees and start my 10 day wait. I find out 20 mins ago DOJ want's the gun banned?!?!?!? They will not let the retail store release it to me or sell anymore. I need explanation from anyone else is in the same scenario. I have purchased 2 rifles in the past two years and nothing else to affect the background check. The feds want the .357 LCR banned??? I'm heading to the store now to figure out dafuq is happening.
Maybe it got delisted due to a mislabeling of the laser grip. Which is great btw.
