In America, AR. (Due to availability of ammo, post SHTF scenario.) Anywhere else, AK or whatever your country's military carries into battle. (Same reason.)
As an American, I have to ask, why not all of them and more? Of course, payday, grab a few freedom seeds to feed your critters. Stock up, get some range time in, stay sharp and have fun with your tools.

If you're getting a decent price on a fully built Czech, I'd grab it. If it's a little steep, look into building one (AR or AK.) Builds usually come in a little cheaper than an off the rack. Plus side, you get the knowledge of the how to end and can take pride in having done it yourself.
Do some reading up, there's a world of different things out there. 80% lower and a jig or a torched in half import (also needs a tool/jig, idk the proper term.)
Also, be patient if you go through building route. Things can take some time to get to you. Mabye you only have X amount of cash and some parts have to wait. Builds aren't for everyone, tho.
possibly deciding to invest in one caliber may make a difference also.
